The Forgotten Ingredient of Revival: Holiness

Revival is not an event.
It’s not just a tent.
It’s not just miracles, falling under the power, or mass gatherings.
Revival is when God comes.
And when He comes, He comes holy.
If we want the sustained presence of God, we must return to what has been quietly dismissed by a generation crying out for power:
Holiness.
It’s not just a tent.
It’s not just miracles, falling under the power, or mass gatherings.
Revival is when God comes.
And when He comes, He comes holy.
If we want the sustained presence of God, we must return to what has been quietly dismissed by a generation crying out for power:
Holiness.
Power Without Purity Is Dangerous
In every genuine revival throughout history—from the Welsh Revival to the Great Awakenings to the Book of Acts—there was power, yes.
But that power was always preceded by a trembling before the Lord.
Too often we seek revival for the sake of experience…
But true revival cannot be sustained without the fear of the Lord.
We’ve traded consecration for charisma.
We’ve confused freedom with flesh.
We’ve thought anointing was enough, while our private lives crumble in compromise.
But let me tell you something I’ve seen firsthand:
God is not impressed with platforms. He’s drawn to purity.
But that power was always preceded by a trembling before the Lord.
Too often we seek revival for the sake of experience…
But true revival cannot be sustained without the fear of the Lord.
We’ve traded consecration for charisma.
We’ve confused freedom with flesh.

But let me tell you something I’ve seen firsthand:
God is not impressed with platforms. He’s drawn to purity.
Holiness Isn’t Legalism—It’s Alignment
Somewhere along the way, holiness got a bad reputation.
We began to see it as behavior modification, rules, restrictions, shame.
But holiness was never about what you don’t do—
It’s about what you won’t trade.
Holiness is the cry of the heart that says,
“I’d rather have God than anything else.”
It’s about being set apart—for Him.
It’s about being filled—by Him.
It’s about being free—from everything that pulls you away from Him.
Holiness isn’t about perfection.
It’s about proximity.
It’s the life that says, “Search me, O God, and know me.” (Psalm 139:23)
We began to see it as behavior modification, rules, restrictions, shame.

Revival Without Repentance Is Just Noise
When the fire of God fell in the upper room, it didn’t fall on gifted speakers.
It fell on those who were waiting, praying, and empty of themselves.
In Acts 2, Peter didn’t preach to impress—he preached to pierce.
And what was the result?
“They were cut to the heart and said, ‘What shall we do?’” (Acts 2:37)
Revival always produces repentance.
And repentance is the soil where holiness grows.
We can’t cry out for God’s glory without first asking Him to cleanse the temple.
The glory follows the cleansing.
We say we want the God of fire.
Then we must be willing to let that fire refine us.

We Can’t Fight Hell With Dirty Hands
This generation is in a spiritual war—
Not with people, but with principalities.
Not with politics, but with powers of darkness.
And yet many are trying to confront hell while still cuddling compromise.
Friend, we need clean hands.
Not just because God demands it—
But because holiness is our protection.
It’s the armor we wear.
It’s the authority we carry.
It’s what makes demons flee—not just our words, but our walk.

A Holy Remnant Is Rising
I believe with all my heart:
We are on the edge of a global move of God.
Nations will shake.
Cities will burn with holy fire.
Churches will no longer just sing about Jesus—they will behold Him.
But He’s not coming to entertain us.
He’s coming to empower the consecrated.
Revival will not be led by the famous—it will be led by the holy.
By those who have nothing to prove and nothing to protect.
By burning ones.
By pure vessels.
We are on the edge of a global move of God.
Nations will shake.
Cities will burn with holy fire.
Churches will no longer just sing about Jesus—they will behold Him.
But He’s not coming to entertain us.
He’s coming to empower the consecrated.

Final Cry:
If we want revival that lasts,
If we want a move that doesn’t fade,
If we want to host His glory…
We must return to holiness.
Not as a message,
Not as a moment,
But as a lifestyle.
Because God doesn’t just anoint talent—
He dwells with the holy.
And when He comes,
everything changes.
If we want a move that doesn’t fade,
If we want to host His glory…
We must return to holiness.
Not as a message,
Not as a moment,
But as a lifestyle.
Because God doesn’t just anoint talent—
He dwells with the holy.
And when He comes,
everything changes.
