LOOSING FEAR
Christianity Was Never Meant to Be Fearful
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God." – Isaiah 41:10
In a world where fear screams from every headline, whispers in our thoughts, and creeps into the edges of our faith, God is calling His people to rise and live boldly. Not in arrogance. Not in human confidence. But in the blazing confidence of His love and authority.

Fear Is Not from God
The Bible is not unclear on this.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
If fear didn’t come from God, where did it come from? It came from the Fall. Fear entered the garden the moment Adam sinned, and mankind hid from God. Since that moment, the enemy has tried to shackle God's sons and daughters with fear to keep us from walking in intimacy and authority. But Jesus came to reverse the curse.

Fear Dies in the Presence of Love
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love casts out fear.” – 1 John 4:18
This is not poetic theory. This is divine truth.
When the love of God floods your spirit, fear has no legal ground to stay. You can’t be full of fear and full of God’s love at the same time. His love expels fear. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you — and that power doesn't tremble before sickness, persecution, poverty, or the future.

Jesus Slept in the Storm. You Can Too.
When the disciples panicked on the sea, Jesus slept.
“And there arose a great storm… but He was in the stern, asleep on a cushion.” – Mark 4:37-38
Why?
Because the storm wasn’t His master. He was Master over the storm.
Most people live reacting to the winds of life. But sons and daughters of the King are called to live like Jesus — unshaken, even when the world shakes.
Fear asks, “What if it all goes wrong?”
Faith says, “Even if it does, my God is still on the throne.”

David Didn't Flinch
“Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear.” – Psalm 27:3
David stared down lions, bears, and giants — but never trembled. Why? Because he knew Who was with him. Before David was king, he was a worshiper — and worshipers who live in the presence of God don’t bow to fear.
The Goliath in your life isn’t too big to fight — it’s too big to miss. When you trust God, you run toward the battlefield, not away from it.

Fear Ends Where Obedience Begins
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid… for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9
Fear isn’t always loud. Sometimes it disguises itself as hesitation, delay, or overthinking. But delayed obedience is still disobedience.
When God says go, go.
When He says speak, speak.
When He says believe, believe.
Every revival in history was born through fearless obedience. The early church didn’t shrink under threat of death — they exploded with boldness.
“And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken… and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” – Acts 4:31

The Spirit of Boldness Is Your Birthright
The greatest men and women of God — from Kathryn Kuhlman to John G. Lake to Paul the Apostle — didn’t live without opposition. They lived without fear.
They were mocked, imprisoned, misunderstood, and attacked. But they walked in divine peace, because they feared God more than man.
“The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” – Proverbs 29:25
You were not created to be timid. You were created to be a burning one, a light in the darkness, a living testimony of the fearless power of the cross.

Declare War on Fear Today
Here’s your charge:
Get in the Word daily – Let Scripture rewire your default response to life.
Pray in the Spirit – Boldness comes when your spirit is alive and connected.
Preach the Gospel – Fear dies when you live on mission.
Speak to fear – Tell it to leave in Jesus’ name. You don’t counsel demons. You cast them out.
“The righteous are bold as a lion.” – Proverbs 28:1
So walk like one. Roar like one.
Fear has no place in the life of a believer.
And you were not made to live in a cage of fear — you were made to fly in freedom.

Final Word
Jesus didn’t die to make you safe. He died to make you dangerous to the kingdom of darkness.
So live like it.
Because the King of Glory walks with you — and if God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31)
